249 bbl Response Barg - 55ft

Function

SEAPRO’s Oil Spill Response Barge (ORB) has been designed to rapidly respond to a marine oil spill in Southeast Alaska. SEAPRO’s ORB carries 2000’ of boom, a LORI Brush Skimmer and has a storage capacity of 249 barrels. Additionally the barge carries a 19' small work boat which is deployed by a hydraulic powered crane.

The barge is capable of skimming in protected waters with seas of 3' or less and can transit in conditions of up to 6' seas.  The response barge can perform skimming and recovery operations offshore, near shore, and as well as support shoreline clean up operations.
